We are not one of those who thinks that they are talking only with points, we are not an opposition, rather an alternative, we write for people who do not find anything in mass-produced commercial writings. Importance for the word, not just the image culture, for active, creative, looking for new, interesting initiatives that can contribute, but also for those quiet and timid, struggling with the trauma of the four walls.For those who are looking at the world and man, Its an individual, unique vision, experience and understanding of the world. It is a non-profit magazine for young people. It called Zupełnie Inny Świat (Completely Different World). We wanted to make a Completely Different World completely different. At the same time, in order for the magazine to reach young people, stand out on the shelves of gossiping youth magazines. Firstly A completely different world is a platform for expression for young people. Write an article to the magazine can each one of you, no matter old or young. Youth is a mental category. You do not have to be a journalist, you just have to have an interesting topic and write from your heart.

We wanted everything to be different from cover to content, website, campaigns, and videos promoting. So that each number has its own unique style because each number is dedicated to another theme.

The process of producing each number is a separate topic, separate preparation and graphic techniques used in the issue. New graphic styles, new ideas, and new art exhibits.

When we came to collaborate the logo already was on board, made by some other designer. Adam wanted to keep it, so it stayed. But the rest is on our side.

For typography, we chose a free font BEBAS NEUE as the main font for the magazine.

We have made 18 magazine issues. It’s 18 double-sided covers; There are 990 pages of articles individually designed; It’s about 70 illustrations and graphics; This is 18 promotional campaigns; It’s 5 years dedicated to the project; It’s a completely different world.

I assume Otherwise (Zakładam zupełnie inaczej)

We created a useful booklet in the form of a bookmark. Seven bookmarks correspond to seven cases in Polish. The order of cases determines the colors in the range. We wrote clever texts for each case. We put it as an action on facebook “I assume Otherwise”. Bookmarks have been distributed. Do you have one?

The website should be simple and communicative. Due to the variety of content, it should be clean in the structure so that the content itself fills it with color graphics and forms.

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT OUR COOPERATION:

With Marcel and the company Space Monkeys, I collaborated on the creation of a socio-cultural quarter for young Zupełnie Inny Świat (Completely Different World), which I am editor-in-chief. The company Space Monkeys was responsible for conceptual and implementation activities related to the composition of a dozen or so magazine issues and the creation of covers. Space Monkeys also ran a website of the magazine and prepared advertising campaigns for individual quarterly numbers. Company employees have come to know themselves as unconventional, brave and energetic. Their work was definitely based on vision and personal creativity, not on graphical reproduction. Despite their many ideas, they also displayed high interpersonal skills. They were focused on dialogue and collaboration, not pushing their ideas at all costs. All actions were always executed within the time limit.
I strongly recommend working with the Company, which is a very strong and “separate” identity but at the same time, it is real – and not declaratively – open to other points of view, looking for synergies and tangents.
